New Flame
Im surrounded by doubt
It suffocates the flame that is true life.
Life untainted which does not exist
What is this man made god?
This splendor and menace to us all
What is this media death that herds the masses?
The ignorance is around me and, sad as it may seem, I am not effected
Why do these people succumb?
What is this breath of control that keeps their flame dim but lit?
How is it any god but this can control our masses?
While other gods control masses
Give us hope or understanding
Get us away from this media death
My flame must remain protected
But yet must live free
And soon, smothered it will be
