Sign of the Times
Cumbersome times,
filled with scandals,
embedded in a labyrinth of lies.
Our lives sundered,
like a crying baby from the womb.
Invaded and terrorized,
victims of unspeakable horror.
Moment in history marked,
morbid reminder of the era.
Devolved to our next generation,
as a war they know nothing about.

I feel like this could be
I feel like this could be talked over for hours, the poem says so much without ou right saying anything and it leaaves the reader so much space to put their own meaning to it, few poems pull off this impacting vaugeness and you did it so well :) wonderful write...keep at it
