My Father's Mustang

A few years back my father bought a classic 1970 Ford Mustang. My father kept his priced possession in the garage of our home, with a cover on top of the car so it won’t get a bit dirty. My father decided to buy this classic car some years ago. When it arrived it wasn’t what he expected, it was more beat down than he imagined. He knew the car was a lot of work so he decided to start this amazing project. At first the car didn’t seem like much but he saw the potential in it. Whether it was a difficult task or an easy one my father loved working in that car. During some months of hard work and dedication the car was coming to life. When I could I tried to help my father with his project, I knew I couldn’t do much but I tried. This amazing classic car was almost finished. The car looked like new, he replaced everything the paint job, the rims, the seats, and even installed an air conditioner and a stereo. The car look amazing the first time I glanced at it I was shaking. It looked so good and all I wanted to do is drive it. I asked my father if I could and at first he said no after a few tries he gave me the keys and told me I could go give it a spin. I was so excited I thought I was daydreaming. The first time I turned the key in the keyhole and hear that V8 motor I had chills al over my body that engine roaring and giving that loud noise. It was like nothing I have ever felt before it was amazing. After making a long drive all over the city I returned home. It seemed to good to be true. After driving that car I realized al the hard work my father had done in the hard I started to value it more and knew that the car meant a lot to my father. I never knew that my father was so passionate about classic cars until that day. I know that not only did my father like the car for being a material thing but also as a way to spend time with him. This was an amazing experience and I hope to do more projects like this with my father.
