My Grandpas Sown Fields

It is not a weekend for my grandpa if he doesn’t goes to his fields. The joy that fills his eyes makes me understand why he likes it to so much. Since I can remember, my grandpa has been constant about getting up early every Saturday to make what he truly loves. It is for sure that when people talk about their passion, you can notice in their eyes, and in my grandpa’s case, when he talks about this place to me, I can see that all his dedication makes himself proud. There’s nothing better than to hear my grandpa talk about his fields and when I go with him, I learn a lot. He also helps a lot as he employs many people that live nearby that are in need of a job and helps them the most he can. My grandma doesn`t likes that he goes every Saturday (and sometimes in weekdays) but I always defend my grandpa because he should have some free time to do what he loves, as this is just a hobby he has. Not to brag, but almost all the plans he has about his fields, he tells them to me first. For him to share his experiences with me makes me feel special and obviously, his favorite grandchild. What he harvests is varied, such as tomatoes, lots of kinds of tomatoes, as well as peppers, corn and garlic. (I´m sure I´m missing something) He lets me and my cousins ride the tractors but deep down we know he doesn´t likes the idea that much. The dedication he has to this place is beyond words and he is always trying to think for other ways to improve. Since I´m a child, my grandpa is always working on something, he is entrepreneurial, hard working and most of all, perseverant. If his plans don´t go as planned, he tries again and again until he succeeds and that is something I admire my grandpa for.  He has marked my way of seeing things, making me grateful for the opportunities I have and also by giving them to me such as trips, a student exchange experience, and more. I would consider my grandpa a wise man, he knows a little of everything and there´s no question he can´t answer. (If he can´t, he investigates and then tells me about it) No doubt, these sown fields will leave the best memories about my grandpa.
