Last night's little bit of vodka, still on my breath.
Every word I said still spinning in my head.
My drink's spilled all on the floor, I'd say it's quite a mess.
My bare skin to more bare skin.
Air that's chilled, my lungs take in.
Head in the toilet, my heart all the same.
Slurring every word, I can still say your name.
Down, down, down I'm falling.
Softly in my dreams, no words whispered to me.
A rough voice againts my ear is how I wake.
I open my eyes, I see the day break.
I still can't get rid of this, all consuming shake.
My shaking hands want to fall over you.
But I'm just a drunken mess.
