Why must we compare emotions and experiences to objects and natural happenings?
Are we not capable of original description?
What of the first experiences of man?
To what did they compare them to?
For the lion who preyed upon them was unlike any other creature,
Unlike any other challenge yet faced.
To what did they compare their fight for survival?
I imagine their descriptions were unique and full of creativity.
I am envious of their new world.
