You were nothing special,

You were nothing new,

But the moment I saw you in the rain,

I fell in love with you...

I don’t know if it was the rain,

That made you look beautiful so,

Or it was the hidden beauty of yours,

That after ages I have come to know!

Perhaps I was blind with healthy eyes,

As was Oedipus the King,

Yet blessed I feel at the moment,

For our hearts are tied with the love’s string!
