Hail Africa!

Land of my heritage,

The crown of all continents,

Stretched across the great oceans,

Surrounded by mysterious waters,

Piecing through its horizons,

Held firm by the mountains,

Kept cool by the rivers.



Hail Africa!

The root of the black race,

The land of beauty and splendor,

Planted in the tropics,

Lighted by the Eastern sun,

Rich in art and culture,

Abounding in  history and legendary,

Unfathomable mystery of existence.



Hail Africa!

Great among nations,

Perfect in weather, blessed in soil,

Endowed with inestimable wealth,

Glorious in vegetation,

Wonderful in tourism,



Hail Africa,

The land of aquatic splendour,

The region of multifarious animals.



Hail Africa!

The land of the brave,

The fountain of intelligentsia,

Struggling and conquering, undaunted in zeal,

Fighting and winning, like the lion in the jungle,

Shaped like a shot-gun, pointing down to the southern oceans!

Striving and thriving, like the eagle in the sky,

Moving, advancing, developing,...

Venturing and stabilizing, realizing her destiny.

I shall ever be proud of Africa.
