Belle Sequence We watched him fall,
Heard him call her name,
But could do nothing;
It was part of our curse.
Terrible was her return in the morning,
Terrible and touching.
She ran from room to room,
Calling his name with growing panic.
Finally, when she found him,
She fell down beside him,
Weeping over his body.
As her tears fell upon him,
She confessed her love
And a wondrous thing occurred.
Wrapped in her arms,
Before our eyes,
Our Beast began to change,
To return to the form which was once his.
We began to change too,
No longer the wraiths we had been,
Finally truly human once more.
Startled, Belle drew back,
Questioning these sudden changes,
Until her former Beast took her hand.
At that moment, she knew:
Their love had been strong enough
To break all curses.
Their story is told even to this day,
The story of true love most pure.
