My sister and I kept our Disney princesses’ dolls in their original boxes, standing in the wood shelves that are above our bed. Since we were little, we have been big fan of everything about Disney, but our favorite things are Princesses’ dolls. We have always love to watch a lot of Disney movies, dress up like princesses and sing out loud their songs; it is like one of our hobbies. My sister’s name is Sofia, her favorite princess is Belle, from Beauty and the Beast, since she was 3 years’ old and have her princess themed birthday.  Her favorite present was a big Belle doll. That doll made it began her love to princesses. Since 2010, Disney release the movie “Tangled” in which Rapunzel is the princess. Since the day I went to the movies with my family, I felt completely in love with the character. Since that day, my obsession has been for all the Rapunzel things, specially dolls and small figures. There is something about the dolls that make us overwhelmed so much, but receiving them as a gift, is the best for us. Our greatest connection as sisters is the love that we have to Disney princesses. Thinking about each other immediately reminds us of our princesses’ collection, which began 7 years ago, when on our birthdays, which are so close, our parents gave us dolls of our favorite princesses to each one. Through birthday’s celebrations and special days, we receive a Disney doll, specially our favorites. We keep them in a special place in our room, where they are all clean, smiling and in their original boxes, so that they keep their value and don’t get dirty. It may sound very childish, but at times when we are happy or sad, we take our dolls and play with them and it makes our day so much better. One of our favorites dolls I got for both of us, was when I went to a school trip to New York and in the Disney Store, there was a special offer of 2x1 in Disney princesses, so I bought them and they are the most special ones because they were bought in Times Square. The last doll I have bought was 2 months ago in the Disney Store at the San Antonio’s Outlets. It is a baby Rapunzel of 50 centimeters, with long gold hair, and with the exact outfit as on the film. I had wanted this doll since a long time ago, but that day was the ideal time to buy it, because it was such a good day.  Without a doubt, what I like the most about this princesses’ dolls, is that I have my sister with whom I can share this love to princesses. It doesn’t matter that we have 9 years of difference in our ages, it is something that I know that will bring us good memories forever. (487 words)
