The tear on a cheek,
The rush of emotion,
The unending flow,
Like the tide in the ocean,
The look in your eyes,
The feel of you near,
The eternal darkness,
The gripping of fear,
The touch of a finger,
A tempest in mind,
The word a release,
The peace you will find,
The breath from your mouth,
The noise that it makes,
The solace it brings,
For all that it takes,
A deaf ear is turned,
A blind eye looks on,
Cause caring is absent,
At the death of a pawn.
