What is that noise I hear?

I think it’s the demon girl

Will her dark silhouette appear?

In a shadowy whirl

I hear the creeping crawl

No one can save me now

My life is about to fall

I think I can escape, but How?

There is no escape

I’m destined to fail

I’ve tried every route

The answer’s in a veil.

So let the nightmare come

It can’t be all that bad

I might get scared and numb

But that won’t make me sad

It’s just a dream

None of this is real

I mean I just saw a guy

Slip on a banana peel!

This nonsense just can’t be!

All this randomness

That I would never see!

The only explanation is

Its all just me!

It’s all in my head

There’s nothing there!

While I sleep all snug

By my fluffy teddy bear.
