It is in the night
the sky
the stars
how they shine
bursting down
onto you
onto me
It is in this very night we are allowed
to venture past the shadows cast by light
to travel further distances
that could not be concieved
hidden the light.
peer into the night I say
upwards into the sky
the barrier has been lifted
it is this very darkness
that guides us
revealing spaces thought once empty
to be so filled
this is where our dreams harbor
both lost and caught
I cannot see them, only feel
revealed by the veil of night
