Is it better to be close to you.
Even if I can�t touch you.
Or is it just torture on me.

I felt my heart cry out.
As it was squished from existence.

As it was mashed into the driveway.

I felt a part of my soul slip away.
As it was stretching to fill the gap between us.

I felt stomach heave and blister.
As it was kicked in from the world.

I felt my brain try and throw up the walls.
As it was forced into hiding.
