We talked.
I left.

I returned.
You were there.
In the same place that is not here or there.

I smiled.
My heart would race.

You said you hadn't forgotten me.
I hadn't forgotten you.

You said you loved me.
You wish I were yours.
I wanted the same of you.

Then you lied.
Hurt me so.
Let me go so easily.
It broke my soul.
