remembering what it once was
and wishing to return
to the land once forgotten
decorated brightly with fluorescent trees
lined with emotion
iridescent intuition
when the “what if’s” were no longer what they were
but what it once was
the pure innocence
the absolution of reconstitution
the wanting of a resolution
the world of calm and care
now an able-bodied abyss
not willing to conceive
but willing to concave
but some want a change
some want a difference
the willful need to recognize
the inner need to stabilize
disgusted
mistrusted
misguided
untouched
through the looking glass is a world
a misconstrued world of betrayal
filled with crude oils and the dire need to become uniform
to follow the latest trends
to become the biggest threat
to not unite as a whole
but to untie from the natural bonds of life
the ties that keep us together
