the confounding continuing

End of the world

After walking up in a complete disaster, without buildings, humans and having anything to survive, looking for food, the tiger was waiting for me to get down the tree. I am completely afraid that once I get down this tree, the tiger will attack me since there’s noting more than a monkey to eat. I don´t know what to do, if I go down I will get eaten, and if I stay up here, I will never survive more than a day. I need to make a plan.

¨Hey tiger let me get down, and I will help you to find something to eat. ¨ I said

¨Sure I will eat if you go down¨ the tiger replied.

¨No tiger, let me live and I bet you´ll eat better than myself, trust me. ¨

After I did not hear a reply from the tiger, I look to the bottom of the tree and the tiger was not there anymore. I got down from the tree not knowing what to expect, I didn´t hear any noise just the wind passing through. I am scared but at the same time I feel weak. I don´t know how much more time I will last without food, or anything to drink. Having no time to waist, I need to get out of this place, I know the tiger will come back and if I stay I will die.  Walking through the forest, I hear a noise, someone may be alive and screaming for help. As I follow the noise, I see a white tiger, hanging from a tree in something that looks like a hunter’s net. I get close and see that it is the same tiger, the one trying to eat me.  I see him in pain but I don’t want to help him, he wanted to eat me, why should I help him, I thought.  In the end I ended up heading toward the tiger’s direction. When I arrived the tiger plead for help, and I answered

“Why do should I help you?”

“I won’t eat you, I swear” said the tiger

“I don’t care about that, I want you to know I will help you, not because I need a favor but because it is the right thing to do.”

The tiger just stared at me, looking a little bit confused. In the end I took very little time to undue the trap. The tiger fell to the ground I really thought he was going to eat me when he got close to me.  I was fearing for my life but in the end he just gave me a hug and said “thank you”.

Until know we are best friends and we help each other to find food and water for us to survive. It is an odd friendship but it works just fine.

The moral of the story is:

1. Not expecting something in return, when you do a kind thing

2. You should always be kind, towards other people, because you don’t know when you are going to need their help, even if they are weaker or smaller than you.
