One day....
I'm stronger within my mind, a dream master
Only when I'm in that lucid state at night..
I fall, but I can fly I just have to see it.
Stronger now, faster too, nothing can limit how high..
Maybe, but there's something in the corner of my eye..
Running with out a breath, theres a man standing there, but why?
I see him in my dreams, when everything's fine, there he is...
He follows when I'm lost in my mind to think I'm alone?
I'd be out of my mind...
Maybe one day I'll stop and ask him, but theres something he wants...too afraid to ask it..
So, I'll just run in the other direction, yelling help to the people that walk past this..
But they are all in on it, characters I picture but they're all against me I know, they've whispered....
They'll tell him where I'm flying, and one day when he chases he'll catch me...
And I might never awaken from my sleep..

When I was young I used to have night terrors and this man was a recurring theme in mine as well! Well, technically more like an ever present and ill-defined sense of dread and doom. I don't know what it symbolizes but I used to pray for my dreams to be taken away and eventually they were. I stopped dreaming for years. I miss the feeling of flying sometimes.

See! You get it, he will just pop up standing there or drive in in some sort of sedan or something random like that haha
But I don't think I could wish for my dreams to go away, I love my sleep get away even if its horrid(when they naturally are)
They must have been terrifying though, I know I've been there.
