Why did I tell you?

Something so profound.

You believe me, don't you?

Please say something,

For the silence

It seems never-ending.

The pure silence

I can't take it

Please don't be silent



I know it's surprising

Quite a shock

But I think I'll start crying

If you stay a rock

Please say something

I don't care what

Absolutely anything

Why won't you say what

Is on your mind

Your secret mind



I feel like an idiot

I just had to tell

A complete and total idiot!

I swear I could yell

And scream and shout

And all those things

But instead I look about

At everything

But your face

Your frightened face



That's what I'm confused about

More then anything

I expected you to shout

Or something

But I never expected you

To just sit there

Almost looking blue

While I quietly fear

That I just said something

I can never take back

And these few seconds

Feel like a liftime

Or nin.
