An unusual Saturday
John woke up on a Saturday morning, everything seemed normal. He is a young entrepreneur that taught he could have anything in the world with just stretching his hand or making a phone call. He loves partying with no limits and has no respect to his own life. He was doing his daily and usual routine; he stretches a little bit, gets off the bed, walks to his bathroom washes his face and takes off to the kitchen. The unusual thing started in that moment… There were 3 beautiful ladies making breakfast in nothing more than John´s oversized shirts. He took two steps backwards and tried to recall what in the world he did last night, but when he tried to remember he realized he could barely remember his name.
A girl watches John and walks towards him in a friendly manner, but John´s response wasn´t that good. She accompanies him to the room and he starts asking questions about last night, what where the girls doing in his house, why couldn’t he remember anything and why where they wearing his clothes. The girl laughs and introduces herself, “ hello, my name is Lily “. John, with a what the hell is going on face, runs towards his garage and grabs the car keys. When he was turning the car on he looks back and watches the three girls sitting in the backseats and passes out.
When he wakes up again he is again in his room and repeats the routine; he stretches a little bit, gets off the bed, walks to his bathroom washes his face and takes off to the kitchen. The three girls where again in the kitchen and John approaches towards them and asks now in a friendly tone that what was going on. They explain to him that he had been randomly selected for an experiment, an unusual Saturday experiment. This experiment consisted of looping his Saturday until he could be grateful for his life and blessings.
He started trying hard to be grateful and respectful all day long but there was always something that screwed things up and started the loop again. There was this time when he was having a perfect day and the clock almost stroked midnight, but he coursed an old woman when she crossed through the street. But the day was finally here, John had decides that he would put his entire effort to end the day perfectly. And so was it, he completed an entire day without cursing, offending, making someone else less, and being completely grateful for everything. The next day he woke up and the girls weren’t there anymore, and since that day John became a better person and started to donate money from his businesses to charity and positive causes.
