The lazy sloth in the treacherous jungle
In the mighty jungle, where all sorts of different dangerous species live, cutting their way through the dense canopy of vegetation, fighting through the very, wich hung heavy, moist and still, there once lived a pack of sloths, you see, animals such as them, who don’t have certain predator capacities, and live by eating only leaves that hang from the trees, should never be alone in the jungle, but so it was, that this young and very lazy adolescent sloth who was unwilling to get up because of this lethargic attitude remained sleeping, his sloth pack was to sluggish to even make an effort to wake him up, so they left without him, they were headed to a their shelter to protect themselves from the predators who were arriving from their migration to the humid jungle. A day passed until the young sloth woke up. And as he slowly opened his big dark eyes, he felt he was being watched. The spectacle owl perched above him, on the ficus tree branch had been gazing intently at him for some time. In an instant the yellow eyed hunter swooped down and pierced his furry belly, the sloth was a victim of the tiny and ferocious predator and his sleepy body never even had time to react. He took the first hit and fell from the branch he was sleeping in. After feeling such tension and fear, the sloth started running, but he was so tired and his body was so weak that he fell to the floor every 10 steps. The slot was in enormous trouble, his life was hanging by a threat. The owl attacked for a second time and left the sloth completely helpless. Was in this very moment when a fearlessly panther arrived to save the day. He defended the sloth, who was lying on the ground, from the owl and saved his life. When the sloth recovered consciousness he couldn't find the words to thank the panther for what he had done so he said he would do anything he asked for. The panther just stared at the sloth and told him that he didn't want anything in exchange that this was just a warning for him that he needed to be more sharp, and stay aware at all times because in another case he might not be there to save his life.
The moral of the story is…
Never take your well being for granted in the busy city jungle, keep in mind that there is safety in numbers.
