Under full moon, a man cries alone, left alone by a selfish world.
He lost his love, silent evil, took her away, swift and light wind burned the candle out.
She at that time only 17, loved dancing under the moon, the wind flowing trough her black hair, eyes colour of the purest emerald. his lover standing aside, hypnotized by his angel’s dance. She raised her hand, as to try and catch the stars, moon and stars shined bright in response.
Then she would turn to him and say:”Dance with me my love.” he would joyfully agree, and then they would dance together, when both of them would whisper their love.
But alas, their nights under the moon would come to a close.
For silent evil would take the angel away, in her last breath she said to her love:” Feel no sorrow, feel no pain, there’s nothing gained, only love, will then remain.
Then her flame, which always burned bright, settled of, emerald eyes closed forever, her lips who formed a last smile, relaxed in a blank expression.
the man left, alone could not hold the ocean of sorrow he had inside and cried, tears that could bring to tears even the blackest heart. Tears of a lost love.
The man went under the moon many times, after her death, sorrow filled his heart.
Then one night, he went to the star which, he passed so many days staring at.
He then remembered the words she said, a smile on his face.
Feel no sorrow, feel no pain, there’s nothing gained, only love, will then remain.
A candle's last night
Hello, you have many great thoughts written here. This is more a story than a poem. Perhaps a prose. I enjoyed reading. keep up the nice writing,
Thanks
Thanks for the kind comment, I'm glad you enjoyed one of my writings.
Yes most likely you are right, it is more of a prose than a poem but since my writing style is more "on the go" like, I still do not know how to categorize my production.
I'll post the other writings ASAP.
Thanks again for reading.
