I die for residual enlightenment
talking war faces disturbing silence
the carcass of truth hollowed out by the corrosive lies of conformist fathers
a detrimental state of blank despair
and a mothers wooden arms hold no comfort when wrapped in their cold embrace
the light has seeped out of the sun
forming a fading pool of shimmering lifelessness
with it fades the deeper breath of utopian ideals rooted in a saintly perfection
a gargantuan tree
with a city of death at its feet
and my living corpse crawling upon its leaves
which catch the blood falling from the dreams
upon this I feed
a monolith of worldly fallacy
