My Reflection

Keep them clean or you will fall she said to my father. But he wouldn’t listen, they were always messy. Filled with paint or food but messy they were. He was a playful child with many friends, oh what a times he used to said. Jumping and running everyone was, with dirt and dust the park was filled. Keep them clean or you will fall she said to my father. Dirty they were and so does my father in those cheerful days. Life has struck, over and over again but he was able to see beyond those shades. My dad’s vision, clumsy but always so certain. Such a righteous man he is, my example to be, sure it is. Keep them clean or you will fall she said to my father, never he listens but still he stands, strong and always so kind to me, his little daughter. Stumbling it’s something I’ve never see him do. The time I stand by his side safety is what I feel. I can see my reflection on his eyes, meaning that he is a part of me as much as I am of him. We’ve traveled far, yet there is so much to see beyond this sky. He might not clean them but he will never fall, my father will still be watching the for coming sunsets with me, even with them being messy. The future an uncertain thing it is, but strong he taught me to always be. Keep them clean or you will fall, once again he was told. Some things will never change; some things I don’t want them to. As far as I know my dad, those glasses have always been part of him and I will never get tired to say that he stands tenacious against any problematic. So wise he seems never doubting he truly is, those glasses of his give him that thoughtful look. As a child all muddy he played, with all his friends happy he was. Keep them clean or you will fall but no, as much as his vision of the horizon never changes, those steps of him straight will go. Never back down he told me once but my reflection wasn’t on his eyes, it was on those glasses between him and I. I felt the wisdom of those glasses, the ones he never cleaned as a child, those that are messy, those that makes me feel home.
