i want to be with you

i want to leave with you

but you're already gone

and i'm not allowed



could you return to take my breathe away

before i suffocate

but i know it's too late

please tie the knot in my brain



so i can see her again



i want to change the past

first time ever, at last

what's run needs be rerun

i regret what i couldn't



come on, i come undone

take off those angel wings

for just a few minutes

you'll never want to leave

tears will wash away

the last smoothness of my face

and rivers will be carved

where i'll paddle in the fog



until one day my boat sinks

succumb to all the holes in it

human spirit's an amazing thing

it can keep a fatal wound bleeding

evaporate to you

but you're above the clouds
