An Americans Prayer
With God the foundation of a nation strong
Second to none in pride
We pray for our country in evil times
With enemies lurking inside
We hope for guidance and change in path
Remove those leaders weak
Send us strength from ones who care
And remove this future bleak
Many have died in years gone by
And many more die still
In foriegn lands and in our own
Internal terror kills
Find oh Lord, a worthy soul
Who'll rise and take the reigns
From those who lead us now to shame
In your rivals twisted name
Bring us back to where we were
To all our fruitful gains
Don't let the ones who sacrificed
Become lives lost in vain
