What do you do when the ink is dry?
What do you say when the damage is done?
What can you believe when you sold your last page,
And in disbelief, find the medicine gone?
The hourglass is draining, so little sand remaining,
So you'd better give the world a show.
I plan to crash the stage and rattle the cage
So that when I leave, they'll always know.
I've turned dark to light, fallen and forgiven,
Risen from ashes of artistic division.
I've gotten back up from my fall to the floor,
The scars I bear tell a story that is no more.
I'm finding my way past this dark condition,
Remnants burnt beyond recognition.
In my heart I find no room for fear,
The smoke has faded and the reflection is clear.
Your hold is withering,
These ties that bind.
No longer am I bound
By the sands of time.
I really enjoyed this best
I really enjoyed this
best lines:
"What do you do when the ink is dry?
What do you say when the damage is done?"
and
"I plan to crash the stage and rattle the cage
So that when I leave, they'll always know.
I've turned dark to light, fallen and forgiven,
Risen from ashes of artistic division."
for me this really hits home, as I lost one of my best friendships in an artistic division :)
thanks for the share

Whoa
This one is really amazing!
Beyond the scope of light,
Beyond the reach of dark..
Another great poem with
diversity of intuition in a synthesis of imagination with unity, furnished by cognition of conception that gives understanding to function versus form.Which gives representation to all judgement, do not be bound by the clock, we are all in this together, universally, just mere specks of the cosmos, stardust,
or maybe we are grains of sand in an hourglass?
Stay safe
be happy
Peace
