I saw you going to class today

Just two doors away from me

There's something I needed to say

I searched for the words desperately



I saw you in the hall today

Walking so fast with your guitar

I miss the music you used to play

I close my eyes and there you are



I swear I saw you with her today

I've never felt such jealousy

There's no where for me to escape

The sight that's not so comforting



I didn't talk to you today

Thinking it'd make you disappear

But it's like you can read my pain

When I open your eyes you're always near



I got to talk to you today

It made my heart feel more alive

Speaking up proves I'm not afraid

But it doesn't kill the hurt inside
