Don't Tell Me I'm Dead

You There

Standing by my grave

Stop your sobbing; stop your crying my body's here but my spirit is everywhere

I'm the Wind in the spring,

I'm the rain in the fall

I'm the snow in the wintertime

I'm the joy when you open your presents on Christmas Day

Don't come to my grave and tell me I'm Dead

Because I'm not

I'm everywhere

My golden locks are the rays of sunshine

My smile is the yellow sun

My eyes are the sparkling stars

My many personalities are the clouds

Don't come to my grave and tell me I'm dead

Because I'm not

I'm Everywhere

My singing voice is the sound of an orchestra

My cries are screeching cars

My voice is the soft whisper you hear at night

My sighs are your sighs, you just don't know it.

So when you come to my grave, don't tell me I'm dead

Because I'm not

I'm everywhere
