The curious monkey
Once upon a time, there were all kinds of plants and animals living in a wonderful forest. The animals that lived there were a monkey, a tiger, a lion, two snakes and a peaceful turtle. The monkey always shined among the other animals, as even if none of them could think or talk, the monkey was very curious by nature. The rest of the animals didn´t experience anything new and everything was very primitive in the forest.
One rainy day, a thunderstorm was happening and everybody was scared. The animals hid in their caves, except for the monkey. He was climbing a tree when suddenly, a thunder hit his head. This issue that happened to the monkey wasn´t something normal. The world was about to change… Soon, the monkey experienced thoughts in his mind and his curiosity level increased. He was the first animal in the world that was able to think! The lion, the tiger, the two snakes, and the turtle were surprised by the monkey´s actions and attitude. The monkey began to speak, but nobody could understand him. Everybody thought that he was really, really crazy. Later on, the monkey started to encounter new experiences and he discovered things that human beings actually did in the real world. He learned to throw rocks at other animals and discovered that he could kill them eventually. He learned tricks for survival in the forest and everything was going great for his mind. Few time passed and the monkey started to teach the other animals what his mind was processing and the intelligence was transmitted to the lion, the tiger, the snakes and the turtles. Soon, every single animal that lived in the forest could speak and talk to each other. They could think and use their minds in a wise manner. The world was changing, indeed. Problems disappeared and everybody was living in a happy world. There were usual meetings at nights in which the animals talked. “I am happy I could transmit all of this intelligence to you, my friends”, said the monkey. “I just hope you can use it wisely.” Then, the other animals just stared, thinking, at the monkey. Perhaps, they could use all of what they knew in a special way. Maybe, in a way in which they could be benefited even if others would get affected. The world changed; yes. But problems surged and fights emerged.
