"In the Pouring Rain"

I want to be back in your arms in the pouring rain

On that night that caused me to not know pain.

I want the life back that we had before tonight

Before I curled up not knowing I'd be alright.

I want you back here. Home is where you belong

When you leave, you're gone for way too long.

I want what everyone else around me has now

You know I miss you, where you are, somehow.

I want you to be beside me forever and always

I just wish when you came back, you could stay.



I need you here with me to make me feel okay

I don't want to kiss you and have to to walk away.

I need your arms around me, holding me every night

So, I will know you and I are both going to be alright.

I need the love you give me when you come in

To tell you how much I love you, where do I begin?

I need you in my life, more than the time we have together

I think I want to tell you that I need you in my life forever.

I need the pleasure along with all of the pain

I need you back in my arms in the pouring rain.
