Shadows move
Not a sound is made
Keep pretending
It will all be okay
Tainted by the lies
Thoughts of yesterdays
Secrets kept inside
Of the one that's gone away.
Voices say
Everything wanted to be heard
Whispering
In the ears
Of the innocent
Speaking words
Only one could think worst
Suicide.
Hiding pain
Only makes it worse
Tears unseen
Works unspoken
The child is frightened
How must this disappear
Why does this happen
Why death?
Falling into
The darkness unknown
Slipping away
Leaving nothing behind
Secrets kept behind the walls
No one knows
How can this keep hidden?
Why does one turn away?
