For some reason you asked if you wanted me to let you go

After I spilled out my heart of what you already know

I can't help of what I feel, I can only make it go away

Which is what I tried to do here today.



I may have made a mistake by replying your first hi

Because now, I lay away at nights and just cry

How can we be together, just you and me

You told that we can never ever be.



I'm not asking for forever, I just want a chance

Maybe a couple kisses and maybe a dance

You make me happy in ways I can't explain

and For a while, you take away the pain.
