I'm setting the table for just me and you
I wait paitently as I hear a knock at the door
My heart flutters and falls to the floor.
Do I look nice? I check my reflection
He's the one I picked from the selection.
I glide across the room
My heart shows no doom.
Tonight is lovely, just spending it with my love
The special angel sent from Heaven above.
He's made just for me, I fit his arms so tight
I know I have found Mr. Perfect. My Mr. Right.
I let him in, The door opens very slow
For the love I see in his eyes continues to grow.
He kisses me, the love flowing through
Tonight it the night for just us two.
The light still flickers on the table I've set
This is the night, there will be no regrets.
I get nervous as he says I look great
This is the night. It'll be so great.
He pulls out a box, what could it be?
It's a ring that will fit only me.
He askes me the question, I say I do.
I told you tonight was the night for just us two.
