One word that can change everyone's life
Terrifying meaning to kids causing strife
Parents arguing all day and all night
We wonder why you two have to fight.
Divorce.
Chosing which one you love more
Shoving the other out of the door
Life will now be changed; it'll never be the same
Your mommy gets to change her last name.
Divorce.
Two houses. Two people you care for
Marriage is supposed to be happy and more.
We're not supposed to choose between mom and dad
Having to do that is really very sad.
Divorce.
Maybe you can wait a little while
Until mommy and daddy smile
Then you won't be needed so put down the pen
Please. I'm not ready for a new life to begin.
