I am getting older and we're coming apart

Since Janurary 25, 1990, you had my heart

I never kissed you or said what I needed to

I'm sorry daddy.  You know that I love you.



I'm almost sixteen

We know what that means

I may keep him from you because I'm scared

I don't want you to be even more over beared.



Times are changing, we have so many fights

So little time to make it all alright

I'm almost grown up, please don't be sad

Just remember all the time we were glad.



Fishing out at the lake, Hunting, and being together

Don't worry daddy.  You know that I'll love you forever

I cry now that I realize how mean I've been

I'll always give you a hundred on a scale of one to ten.
