You promised me the world

   -you couldn't get it.

You promised me forever

   -you couldn't make it.

You promised me happiness

   -you couldn't do it.

You promised me a life

   -you couldn't find it.



You searched forever to find me

  But I am long gone now mentally

Brace yourself for what I am about to say

  But slowly my mind is drifting away

When you tell me you love me

  I'll sit there miserablly

You left me here alone in this hell

  Now I'm locked in my own cell.

You made a mistake by letting me go

  Now for that, you must forever know

My heart will never be gold

  My mind will never be whole.

Just leave me to be

In my own worst of misery.
