Insanity.

The blood ran down his finger,
 
Everyone hindered in fear, but still they linger.
 
It was simple, he did it to save her,
 
Yet everything happened so fast, as though a blur.
 
He destroyed his soul, left him mangled on the floor,
 
Unaccepting, he could feel it approaching, the wanting of more.
 
She was crying, thanking him that he saved her,
 
He couldent think straight, his thoughts a stir.
 
He snapped and his face dropped, something came out,
 
There was no one talking, no crying, not even a shout.
 
The darkness crept up in his eyes,
 
A smile came up, as though a prize.
 
He was gone, something had taken his place,
 
It was prepared and ready for the chase.
