Take Me Down

Folder:
depression

Another day to cry my tears,

Another breath to swear.

Another time, another place,

Another bed to wear.

Another line to intertwine,

The love I could care less.

Another bother or another,

Gentle, lying caress.

Take me down your path of sadness,

Give me the sympathy of your madness.

Give me pity, hate my reckless,

Way of taking life for granted.

Let me see your worried frown,

Let the tears roll by.

Let the never ending sound,

Of children make you cry.

Let me know that you care,

And let me see your sorrow.

Let me feel the price you bare,

For speaking only of tomorrow.

Take me down your path of sadness,

Give me the sympathy of your madness.

Give me pity.  Give me warning.

And burn the seeds of love you've planted.

The silver arrow passes by,

Piercing your young heart.

The fickle flame that burns of love,

Only tears you apart.

The metal mass of those that passed,

Mark the graves below.

Driven from their greedy thoughts,

Hearts buried in the snow.

I never knew that you could be,

The hauler of the sand.

Trickle down the hourglass,

Seeping through the hand.

Time is lost, but never crossed,

My hollow pictured mind.

An empty coffin laid to rest,

My love I'll never find.

Take me down your path of sadness,

Give me the sympathy of your madness.

Take me down your path of sadness,

Give me the sympathy of your madness.

Take me down the path you fell in.

Remember the love that you had dwelled in.

Warn me of the times I'll fall,

Into the pit.  Sadistic hallow wall.

Take me down...
