A Sheep in Wolves Clothing

Folder:
Song Lyrics

Take one look at me,

Can you tell me who I am?

Tell me what do you see,

And how much you intend to judge.

Take one look into my life.

Your piercing thoughts,

Cutting through like a knife.

But I'm not the rest of the world.

How can you say I'm any less

Of a person in this world?

How can you tell me that my

Thoughts are not right?

How can you believe that

An opinion can be wrong?

You're a sheep in wolves' clothing

That I'll keep within my sights.

Take one look at the world,

And tell me why I should follow.

See our lives as they unfurl.

Society has no hold on me.

Take one look at who I am,

And know you'll never conquer me.

And now I see you as a lamb,

A following sheep of mindless needs.

How can you live at the thought

Of judging those who are not you?

How can you even believe

That I'd step down and simply quit?

Do you really think that I'm so weak

That I can't stand up when I'm alone?

I see you as the simple sheep,

Who thinks it's a wolf.  Such a hypocrite.

You follow them around,

Just like their little slave.

You have no unique sound,

Just gems wrought from your selfish deeds.

Looking down on the true wolves,

As they watch you from their single pack.

Laughing at your number of fools.

The same clowns you choose to follow.

And how can you continue

To go about your merry way?

Thinking all are below you

If they're not social pedigrees.

Your wool is seen beneath the fur,

And your fangs deal me no pain.

For you're only a sheep in wolves' clothing.

Two faced to the full degree.
