A pin drops
Echoing into the abyss lurking below

Dangling by a sliver of time where the carousel exemplifies faultlessness
A heart racing in each ear
The rise was long lived
Instead the fall will be a blink
The sliver calls out
To be clipped by an unforgivable blade
A breath from the mouth
Gasp of the lips
A scream penetrates the air
Time is up; this flawless world dissipates leaving only the abyss.
