Sweet as Cabbage

Soul as bright as a cave

Heart of a diamond

Not yet compressed

Still in an ugly form

Lump of coal to me

Fake Blue eyes

Your nutrasweet love

Your dismal being

Bringing me down

Your heart so black

I see through impostors

Yet you had me fooled

Led me along for so long

Shucked me little by little

Till' I was none

Just a frail dismal being
