Freedom breeds life
Hospitals breed freedom
What better place to be after freedom given
A hospital to see life taken and given
The halls are bustling, and full of commotion
For every beep there is a constant
For every constant there is a death
Sit down with a friend, who is so frail
Little old woman in her bed
She can barely move to give a hug
She feels so cold and weak
I leave them in the room alone
I walk the halls and find a man
Yelling at a nurse to shut the door and lights off
Down the hall a little girl is crying
Her granny has just died
Down the hall a woman cries
She has just brought a life into this world
We need our space, and we need our time
I needed this day in all it's subtlties
Sensory overload
I witnessed so much
Rushed out side for one single puff
My dad sat outside beside me
The woman we came to see
Has left her freedom to you and me
