It seems beyond reason

That after I have

walked safely with You,

            worked safely for You,

                        lived safely in You,

You should now come

to stalk me,

            catch me,

toss me up and shake me

Until all my excuses and reasons rattled.

Then you set me gently on my feet

            in a new place
