i have found freedom!
trying to gain acceptance is dumb
I am free to ditch society
fear is the chain that binds me
I let go of the past and the bitterness vanished.
I can travel the country, I could even learn Spanish!
I could disregard borders, though i'll probably get shot
physical freedom is limited, happiness is not.
I can start fires, I can laugh and sing
I can live in the bushes, I can live in the trees
I can dress cuts with oranges, soak it up like a sponge
I can eat a banana I peeled with my tongue.
I can do a skateboard trick made up in my head
my feet touch the ground but it still counts, shred
I can climb atop buildings and sleep in the sun
I could go and get married to my best friend for fun
I can write corny poems and publish them freely
I can cry in public if I feel extra feely.
I can walk into Walmart and swordfight with posters.
challenge strangers to duels, this isle is closeders
and I can make up my words if I ever so please
I can have fun in life and not buy a damn thing
we could learn lots from children, we should all quit our jobs
and go live in the forest and eat corn on the cob
but for now while the cities are busy and standing
i'll hold up a sign "give me food, ill be happy"
