Your selfish ways are all you know

Caring only for yourself

You surround yourself with friends

But only because you plan on getting something out of them

And the ones who offer you love and nothing more

You leave them behind

Because you only care about things

Things that will make you happy

But when your with all your possessions

And the ones that you call friends

Will you realize how alone you really are

And how the ones who really cared about you

The ones you left long ago

That they have all moved on

Because they were tired of being used

The things you once loved so much

Your objects and possessions

You’ll realize they mean nothing

And offer you no comfort

You reach out for help

But no ones there to take your hand

Because the ones you chose to be your friends

Have left you behind

For you now have nothing to offer them

You’ll die alone

With no one around to comfort you in your final hours

Laying there alone

Surrounded by all your possessions

All the things that once brought a smile to your face

Now leave a hole in your heart

Realizing that all you’ve worked for

All the people you used

Everyone you walked over

Was for nothing

All you want is another chance

But that’s something you’ll never get

Facing defeat

Alone
