Society
Is going
Hasn't been working

Time things
Finally started
Changing
No more
People
Dying on the street
No more war vets
Wondering
Will there ever
Be a job for me
Or where their
Next meal is
Going to come from
No more
Claiming
That we care
About the hungry
And the poor
And then
Just
Turning our heads
Claiming that
There is
Nothing
I can do
When will
We see
The insanity
In that thinking
When will we see
That what
We do
Does effect others
And what we don't do
Does as well
When will we see
That yes we can
Do something
Even if that thing
Is small
And seems
Insignificant
Hell at least
It is something
And when will we
Finally see
That sometimes
Even that
Is just enough
