From cops
Kicking kids
Out of neighborhoods
Just for being
The "wrong color"
To cops shooting
Unarmed black teens
Or men
And trying to say
Its self defense
Not only
Is it bullshit
Its insanity
And it is still
As important
As ever that
We continue
To fight it
Because despite the fact
That we have come
As far as
We have
We are still
Not there yet
There is still
More to be done
And I for one
Will not stop
Fighting
Until this
Sick sad battle
Has finally
Been won
