Cannot defeat
Darkness
Hate cannot
Defeat
Hate
Light
Love
And acceptance
Can defeat

Such things
But nobody
Has ever
Defeated
Fire with fire
So why is it
That is the
First thing
We always try
Why are we
So damn greedy

And power hungry
That we actually think
That the only way
To become
Richer and more
Powerful
Is through
Costly wars
And violence
Like we actually believe
That the prolonged
Loss of innocent
Civilians
Not to mention soldiers
Is going to bring
Wide spread peace
In the end
That will mean
The end of all of it
In the future
When will we learn
The more hate we live

And the more wars
We fight
The more of both
We are guaranteeing
Ourselves
Seeing in the future
