I look at
The stars in the sky
And in that moment
I realize
How easy it is
Just to ask why
Why are we here

What is our purpose

Why should we care
But then I
Think about it
And to me
The answers are clear
Why are we here?
To learn from each other
And teach each other
With the most
Open mind possible
Why should we care?
Hell if we don't
Then who will
And if we
Don't care
Then how many
More will suffer
Wondering
Why anyone
Just won't
Seem to care
We are here to learn
And make things better
Not worse
Accept each other
Not declare
War after war
Just because
We refuse
To get along
That my friends
As far as
I am concerned
Was never
The point of life
Not ever
